Dr. Sabine Seymour

Master of Ceremony

I am a creative scientist, strategist, and curator dedicated to a regenerative lifestyle.

I founded my first company MOONDIAL in 1998 in New York. Over the next 20 years I co-founded various companies and co-operatives, joined boards, initiated non-profits, and became a professor at Parsons School of Design focused on wearables, data, and AI in the verticals fashion, sports, health, and food.

I’m now based in Lisbon. My research on biobased materials, wearable healthtech, food biodiversity, data sovereignty, and physical AI fueled the research for Re. punk, Regenerative Punk™.

I am available for keynotes, moderation, or board seats.

MOONDIAL has been the nexus between silicon and style since 1998.

MOOONDIAL was my first studio exploring the intersection of sensors, data, AI, and the body. In the early 2000s we developed wearable technologies for sports, researched conductive yarns for the textile industry, and worked on sensorized automobile car seats. Intel produced a video about our work. Today MOONDIAL houses the brands SUPA and Re. punk.

SUPA HEALTH dba MOONDIAL is a think tank about the future of functional medicine.

What is the impact of climate change on our health? How much is our biometric data worth?

SUPA was born in New York in 2014. We used AI to compute lifestyle data from our sensorized garments and physical IoT devices. We wanted to democratize healthcare. We were too early. We learned a lot. In SUPA hero manner we're still plotting to make the world a better place. More on Instagram.

PONY EARTH is a non-profit research and creative think tank, the art of biodiversity.

We developed a biodiversity visualizer using eDNA, soil chemistry, satelite, and weather data from our living farm lab to create regenerative art works (ReArt). We create salon experiences routed in food, science, and creativity. More here.
